Greek Meatloaf Hot Dogs combine the familiar fun of an American hot dog with the flavors of a Greek-inspired meatloaf. Each grilled beef dog has a melted provolone center and is finished with cool tzatziki, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, feta and olives.

Greek Meatloaf Hot Dogs
I like a recipe that makes people smile before they’ve even taken a bite, and turning meatloaf into a hot dog certainly has that effect. It’s a familiar American comfort food dressed for a cookout, with a little Greek inspiration tucked into the meat and piled on top. Feta, oregano and parsley give the meatloaf its character, provolone melts inside, and cool tzatziki brings everything together in a warm bun. Add the crunchy vegetables and olives, and you have something playful but wonderfully satisfying. This is the kind of kitchen idea that makes me want to invite someone over and say, “You have to try this.”

Instructions
Chef Notes
- Mix the beef only until the ingredients are evenly distributed; excessive mixing can make the finished meatloaf dogs dense.
- Seal the beef completely around the provolone so less cheese escapes onto the grill.
- Nutrition note: Feta, tomatoes, olives, lettuce and optional ketchup are listed as needed without amounts, so the estimate excludes those toppings.
- How do you know the protein is done? Ground beef must reach 160°F. Insert an instant-read thermometer through the side into the center of the thickest meatloaf dog, avoiding the melted-cheese pocket, and check more than one dog. The exterior should be browned and the meat should feel firm, but temperature—not color, appearance or feel alone—is the primary safety check.
